By using CVForge, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you use CVForge on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.

CVForge is an AI-powered resume builder and optimizer. Our service allows you to:

• Upload a resume (PDF or Word format) for AI-powered text extraction
• Select from professional resume templates
• Optionally purchase AI optimization of your resume content
• Download your formatted resume as PDF or Word document

No account or registration is required to use the core service.

CVForge operates on a pay-per-use model:

• ₹5 — Each download of your resume (PDF or Word, original or optimized)
• ₹9 — AI optimization of your resume content (downloads billed separately)
• ₹25 — Real-Time AI Editor: 2 hours of live editing with 1 free PDF or Word download included

All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. CVForge does not store your payment card details.

Due to the digital and immediately consumable nature of our services, all payments are non-refundable once the service has been delivered (i.e., once the AI has processed your resume or you have downloaded a file). If you experience a technical issue that prevented delivery, please fill out our feedback form at cvforge.in/feedback and we will review your case.

CVForge offers an opt-in referral programme. By signing up at cvforge.in/refer with your email and a 6-digit verification code, you receive a 6-character referral code (e.g. RAJ4K7) that you can share with others.

The programme works on a points basis:

• 1 point for each ₹5 download paid using your code
• 2 points for each ₹9 AI optimisation paid using your code
• 3 points for each ₹25 Real-Time AI Editor purchase paid using your code

6 points unlocks one free 2-hour Real-Time AI Editor session (₹25 retail value), redeemable on any uploaded resume from the editor card.

Lifetime cap: a maximum of 3 free editor sessions can be earned per referrer email, regardless of additional points accumulated beyond that.

Anti-abuse rules:

• The same browser session can only credit a referral code once
• The same payment instrument (card / UPI ID / wallet) can only credit a referral code once
• Self-referral is allowed (you may use your own code), subject to the same dedupe rules above
• Disposable email domains are not eligible for sign-up

Refunded payments do not earn points — if a payment is refunded after a point is awarded, that point is reversed at our discretion.

Free editor credits earned through the programme have no monetary value, are non-transferable, are non-refundable, and cannot be converted to cash. CVForge reserves the right to revoke credits, suspend accounts, or modify the programme's terms at any time without notice if abuse, fraud, or repeated violations of these Terms are detected.

You retain full ownership of the resume content you upload and the output you download. CVForge does not claim any ownership over your personal resume data.

The CVForge platform, including its design, code, templates, and branding, is the intellectual property of CVForge and is protected by applicable laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the platform itself.

Your resume content is processed by our AI system (powered by OpenAI) solely to provide the service you requested. We do not store your resume content on our servers beyond what is necessary for the current session. Please review our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.

You agree not to use CVForge to:

• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform or its APIs
• Circumvent payment mechanisms or exploit bugs for financial gain
• Use the service for bulk automated resume generation
• Abuse the referral programme — including but not limited to coordinating multiple accounts to farm credits, using stolen payment instruments, or signing up with addresses you do not control
• Upload files containing malware or malicious code

CVForge is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The AI-optimized content will result in job offers or interviews
• The service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available
• The extracted resume data will always be 100% accurate

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CVForge and its owners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days preceding the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will indicate the date of the latest revision at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
